J.R. Dior was born March 6, 1990 in Washington D.C.
From the moment he was born a constant flow of music was always apparent in his life, be it from his Dad, Mom, Uncles, Cousins, the radio, go-go music, he loved it all.
He was a natural rhymer when he was young, & already a music lover so when he figured out what he wanted to do with his life, it was easy, make music.
J.R. Dior started writing around the age of 12, recording at 14, taking it seriously since 18.
He strives to become much more than the typical rapper, while still being himself and maintaining his swag.
He strives to become that artist, where he can play the keys, drums, stings, brass, produce his own tracks, write his own records, and just spread around good, quality music with a message.
